Brikloc slip system
The Brikloc slip system is an innovative and creative solution for new build, refurbishment and prefabrication. It provides a unique mechanical and mortar fix, eminently suitable for external use in commercial multistorey developments with a proven track record spanning more than 35 years.
Brickloc offers the following feature benefits:-
• Suitable for use with all standard slips
• Use with any substrate
• Ideal for locations where temperatures vary from -30 degrees to +50 degrees
• Fast - one man can install approximately 10m² in a day.
• Lightweight - just 34kgs per square metre fully clad and pointed, compared with traditional brickwork at approx.180kgs.
• Uniquely designed carrier sheet supports and ‘locks’ brick slips to the substrate using sand and cement mortar.
• ’Briklocs’ carry the slip’s weight, aligns the bed joints and works as brick ties, firmly locking the mortar and brick to the panel eliminating the risk of slips becoming loose
• Movement problems, common with other systems are removed by offsetting the Brickloc panels at each course
Easi-track slip system
Banbury Innovation’s Easi-track system offers a weather resistant, thermal insulated cladding for masonry, dense concrete, metal or timber frame construction.
It is fast to install and suitable for both interior and external use in domestic commercial or industrial applications. The 1.2m wide x 2.4m high fire retardant insulated polystyrene panels are available in 3 thicknesses to suit individual applications. The face of the panel consists of a vacuum formed ribbed profile which, when aligned, forms brick ‘tracks’ to give mechanical support to the slips.
Standard brick slips are then permanently bonded into the tracks using a waterproof flexible adhesive to withstand movement and resist bond failure. Mortar is then piped into the joints and finished in the traditional manner.
