Banbury Innovations Masonry Products division is celebrating an order to supply over 35,000sq metres of brick slips to construction innovators Panaloc. Their latest commercial development being undertaken in partnership with contract developers Taylor Woodrow following a successful . collaboration on the celebrated Vincent Street development in Salford. The development scooped the Winners prize for Housing Innovation at the Quality in Construction Awards in March.
The partnership are again employing the fast track building system developed by Panaloc to construct the brand new St Helens and Knowsley Hospitals for the NHS PFI scheme. The massive scheme contains some 800 bathroom pods in three or four variations all of which will be manufactured on an assembly line in Panaloc’s factory. Brick slips and render will be incorporated into cladding panels and the windows added prior to being transported to site for the façade of the hospital.
Having achieved success in OSM, both contractors are fully committed to investing in strategic parterships with key trade suppliers that will collaboratively unlock the huge potential of OSM.
